Cancer treatment can make you wise beyond your years. It puts things in perspective and wakes you up to what really matters in life.

My son was 2 when he was diagnosed with leukemia. Today, 4 years later, he’s doing well. I feel like I’ve grown quite a bit in that time, personally and spiritually. Here are 10 things I’ve learned (and try to remember) from cancer treatment.

Cancer treatment is hard, but the life lessons we’ve gained are one good thing we can take away from this time in our lives.
